Nifty 50 futures contracts expire on the last Tuesday of the expiry month. If the last Tuesday is a trading holiday, the contracts expire on the previous trading day. As per NSE’s March 4, 2025 circular, the Nifty expiry day for F&O contracts shifts from Thursday to Monday. This change takes effect from April 5, 2025. NSE announced that all derivatives' expiry days will shift from Thursday to Monday from April 4, 2025. NIFTY weekly contracts will expire on Monday of each week instead of Thursday. See the revised expiry dates for other index and stock contracts. Please Note: The expiry schedule for NIFTY contracts (monthly, weekly, quarterly, and half-yearly) remains unchanged. Rollover positions for NIFTY contracts are closed for the months of December – January and January- February.
