Singhal , after remaining in jail for 28 months, was granted bail by a Special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) Court in Ranchi on December 7, 2024. The Jharkhand government has lifted the suspension of IAS officer Pooja Singhal , an accused in an alleged money laundering case. Suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal , accused of embezzling government funds and laundering over Rs 36 crore, was granted bail after 28 months in judicial custody by a Jharkhand court. Pooja Singhal is an Indian civil servant who became the youngest IAS officer at the age of twenty-one. She is a 2000 batch Indian Administrative Service ( IAS ) officer of Jharkhand.
