Vetrimaaran is a director, screenwriter, and producer who predominantly works in the Kollywood film industry. As of 2016, Vetrimaaran has won 4 National awards and one Filmfare award. He made his directional debut through the movie Polladhavan, which was critically acclaimed. Vetrimaaran has played small roles in a few Tamil films like ‘Kadhal Virus’ (2002), ‘Jigarthanda’ (2014), and ‘Star’ (2024). He has directed a few Tamil films like ‘Aadukalam’ (2011), ‘Visaranai’ (2016), ‘Vada Chennai’ (2018), ‘Asuran’ (2019), and ‘Viduthalai Part 1’ (2023).
