André Filipe Teixeira da Silva , born on April 28, 2000, in Gondomar, Portugal, was a promising footballer whose career was tragically cut short at the age of 25. He was the younger brother of the now of late Diogo Jota, the renowned Liverpool and Portugal forward. Both brothers lost their lives in a devastating car accident on July 3, 2025, in Cernadilla, Spain, when their vehicle veered off the road and caught fire, reportedly due to a burst tire.
