The full form of “The APAAR ID Card” is the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. This Student ID Card will keep track of all their academic records and other achievements in other fields (such as sports). The Ministry of Education, Government of India, introduced the APAAR ID ( Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ) under the One Nation, One Student ID initiative, aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. The Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID is a unique 12-digit digital identifier introduced by the Government of India under the National Education Policy 2020. APAAR assigns a unique and permanent 12-digit ID to every student, offering a comprehensive record of their academic achievements, including degrees, scholarships, awards, and other credits.
