Bihar student credit card: The Bihar Student Credit Card

The Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) scheme is owned by the state government and aims to provide financial assistance to financially disadvantaged students in the form of education loan of up to INR 4 lakhs per student for courses like B.Sc, B.A, B.Tech, or MBBS. Eligible students can avail education loans up to ₹4 lakh at a low interest rate of 4% per annum. For female, disabled, and transgender students , the interest rate is just 1%. Loan repayment starts one year after course completion or six months after securing a job—whichever comes first.
