Our Vision Deccan Education Society came into existence, during the British Raj, with the idea of providing education to rouse the intellect, drooping will and slumbering conscience of the fallen countrymen. Deccan Education Society is a registered educational trust and society founded in 1884 by freedom fighters and social reformers in Pune. It runs over 50 institutions from pre-primary to post-graduate level and research in various fields, including Fergusson College, a nation-building institution with a historical campus and a water and food testing laboratory.
