In a recent statement, the company said there is no partnership or deal with Dolly Chaiwala .The confusion started after a meme showed a fake poster claiming that Dolly Chaiwala had become the brand ambassador of Starbucks India. But on June 16, Tata Starbucks debunked the viral rumours claiming that Dolly Chaiwala, a well-known tea vendor and Internet sensation, was named its brand ambassador. The coffee chain issued a statement clarifying that no such appointment had been made and the claims are entirely false . Social media has been flooded with posts linking Dolly Chaiwala to Starbucks. Many claimed that the coffee chain giant appointed the internet sensation as their brand ambassador in India.
