There is a trio combination of Desert, Mountains and Ocean in district of Kutch. The present district of Kachchh is formed of the former Kachchh and 10 enclave villages of the former native State of Morbi. After 1947, it was a part ‘C’ State administered by the Government of India through the Chief Commissioner. About District Kachchh is an Ancient land; its main history is historical period. It is known as Kachchh due to its Geographical Characteristics and due to its turtle-like shape. This name is in existence in ancient history. Millionths in his Bhashya Sanjivani on Amarkosh has referred to it as moistures land in lower allow or wasteland.
