New Delhi (18.02.2025): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has extended tenure of BVR Subrahmanyam (Retd IAS: 1987: CG) as Chief Executive Officer, NITI Aayog for a period of one year beyond 24.02.2025. Former Union Commerce Secretary Subrahmanyam was appointed as the new CEO of NITI Aayog replacing Parameswaran Iyer (Retd IAS:1981:UP) in February 2023. In February 2023, Shri B.V.R. Subrahmanyam was appointed as the CEO of NITI Aayog, succeeding Amitabh Kant. This role places him at the helm of one of India’s most influential policy-making institutions.
