Dwarka Expressway’s 19 km Haryana section was inaugurated and opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 11, 2024. This project was planned as the Northern Peripheral Road (NPR) in 2006 and transferred to NHAI in 2016. Dwarka Expressway, officially known as the Northern Peripheral Road (NPR), is rewriting the rules of urban infrastructure in India. Stretching across 29 kilometers, this futuristic corridor connects Dwarka in Delhi to Gurgaon in Haryana, and is touted as India’s first urban elevated expressway.
