NULM is a government programme to reduce poverty and vulnerability of urban poor by enabling self-employment and wage employment opportunities. It covers various components such as social mobilisation, shelter, street vendors, skill development, and capacity building. The target of NULM is urban poor, with special focus on the urban homeless, street vendors, disadvantage groups like SCs, women, minorities and disabled. Username and Captcha are case sensitive. The NULM was launched by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (MHUPA) in 2013 by replacing the existing Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY).
