Ponmudi is a beautiful small hill station close the city of Tivandrum situated in the border of Kerala & Tamilnadu states. Went to Kovalam for a beach holiday and then drove down to Ponmudi for a change of scenery - and what a change. Nice clean drive with decent roads from Kovalam. Breathtaking views, we were also visiting Neyyar the same day ( avoid) , so we planned to stay at Ponmudi for an hour max. We ended spending more than 2 hours there and would have stayed longer too! Certainly worth the trip!
