Rovman Powell (born 23 July 1993) is a Jamaican cricketer who plays for the West Indies cricket team and is former captain in Twenty20 Internationals. In December 2018, he captained the West Indies for the first time in a One Day International (ODI) match against Bangladesh. [1] Rovman Powell marked his 100th T20I in style, sticking to his "batting template" of a late surge to guide West Indies to a 16-run win over Bangladesh in the first T20 I in Chattogram. Rovman Powell , a right-handed batsman and bowler, was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on July 23, 1993. He currently plays for South Africa and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
