The film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the main lead dual roles for first time and also Nivetha Pethuraj and Raashi Khanna in the main Female lead roles while Soori and Nassar play pivotal roles. D. Imman who was initially speculated as the music composer for the film was later replaced by the duo Vivek-Mervin. Principal photography reportedly commenced during February 2019 in Hyderabad.
