The Stand-Up India Scheme, launched by the Government of India in 2016, is designed to promote entrepreneurship among women, Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST). This reflects a substantial increase, highlighting the scheme’s expanding impact in empowering entrepreneurs across the country. Stand Up India Scheme is a government initiative to promote entrepreneurship among SC/ST and women borrowers. It offers loans up to Rs. 1 crore for greenfield enterprises in trading, manufacturing and services sectors.
