Terms of the offer
The UPSC Mains 2025 is a five-day examination and will commence from 22 August 2025 (Friday). It comprises nine descriptive papers consisting of two language papers which are qualifying in nature and seven papers which are merit-based, comprising GS I to IV, Essay, and two Optional papers. Covering expansive syllabus, the pattern tests analytical writing skills, subject knowledge, ethics, and current affairs.
